Kaavalan selected for Shanghai festival

Vijay is one of the superstars of Tamil cinema. His humility and discipline has made him what he is.

His last release, the Siddique directed Kaavalan has been selected for the 14th Shanghai International film festival (SIFF) in China.

It is one of the most prestigious film festivals in Asia.

Kaavalan is one of Vijay's best films in which his performance has been talked about and the film is a hit.

The film has been selected in the Panorama section by the SIFF from nearly 2500 odd films from various countries in the world.

The 14th SIFF will start on June 11. Ilayathalapathy Vijay is likely to attend the festival on the day when Kaavalan will be screened.

It is definitely another feather on Vijay's hat.
